Rincon Recovery Resources, LLC was established in 2006 as an Out Patient Counseling Center for Effingham County area residents in need of substance abuse and behavioral health services. We were able to make this dream a reality with the help of the Savannah chapter of Small Business Assistance Corporation. We are certified by the Georgia Department of Human Resources to provide a Level I Treatment Program for multiple DUI offenders.

Our mission is to provide quality treatment and the necessary resources to individuals and their families seeking help. We focus on the specific needs of each individual offering programs and resources that will assist them as they improve their quality of life. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.

The term bariatrics refers to the branch of medicine that is concerned with the treatment of obesity. We are proud to be the only Licensed and Certified Bariatric Education Program in this region. We provide the materials and resources to help individuals adjust to their existing program. We offer workshops designed to meet the specific needs regardless of the type of weight loss procedure and offer pre/post operative benefits.

Licensed Counselors offer private therapy sessions to individuals dealing with life struggles such as codependency issues, depression, eating disorders, and anxiety. We are certified Trauma Resolution Therapy- trauma defined by the individual (ex. divorce, grief, abuse.) Often symptoms such as depression, insomnia and aggression develop in a reaction to unresolved feelings/situations. One on one counseling provides a safe environment to establish healthy living skills and behaviors.

For those seeking one-on-one counseling for alcohol and/or drug abuse. Individual therapy is intensive and addresses the "nuts and bolts" of the substance abuse problem. Counseling sessions will be scheduled according to the need of the individual. During this time, counseling is also offered to the client's support system-as we understand that addiction affects family and friends. In addition, we offer alcohol and drug assessments, substance abuse groups, as well as clinical evaluations for DUI offenders.
