Help For Substance Abuse

Substance Abuse Assessments
(Adult & Adolescent)

Assessments are provided to individuals who have been court ordered or referred by the pre-trial diversion program. Assessments determine the diagnosis and level of treatment necessary. Appropriate referrals are made and case management provided.

Clinical Evaluations for DUI Offenders

As a requirement of the State of Georgia - any person convicted of 2 DUIs in 5 years (since 07/01/1997) or any person convicted of one DUI since 07/01/2008 must complete a clinical evaluation. the clinical evaluator list is available at the Georgia Multiple Offender Program Website.

Level I Outpatient Treatment

This unique 3-hour group meets weekly as required by the Georgia Department of Human Resources for 17- weeks of education and group therapy for DUI Offenders. In addition to the Substance Abuse Education, our program offers anger management skills, goal setting, roadblocks to recovery, stress management techniques, and relapse prevention.

Individual Substance Abuse Therapy

For those seeking one-on-one counseling for alcohol and/or drug abuse. Individual therapy is intensive and addresses the "nuts and bolts" of the substance abuse problem. Counseling sessions will be scheduled according to the need of the individual. During this time, counseling is also offered to the client's support system-as we understand that addiction affects family and friends.

MRT® Groups

This group is currently offered to Probation/Parole/Department or Juvenile Justice referrals only. We have certified MRT facilitators to provide adult and adolescent groups. Individuals meet weekly to complete the MRT workbook and participate in a structured group setting. The length minimum time for this group is 24 weeks. MRT is an approved program through the GA Department of Corrections.

Professional Pharmacy

Rincon Recovery is approved as a preferred provider by the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy. Our staff will work directly with the professional and the pharmacy board to assist with consent orders and reinstatments. Groups provide additional support and ongoing monitoring.
